More than a week after Mamata Banerjee indicated her willingness to talk to the Tatas over the deadlock at Singur, the Managing Director of Tata Motors Ravi Kant has written to the Trinamool leader. This was confirmed by Mamata herself. While she has not revealed the contents of the letter she remains firm on her demand that 400 acres at the Tata factory site can and should be returned to farmers.
