India's Northeast shares a porous and sensitive international border with five countries and for years several items from narcotics to guns to detonators and explosives have found their way to mainland through these borders. With the recent rise of jehadi groups in the region it is not improbable that the terror network spread across the country may find its new supply lines through these borders and the region.
