With Pranab Mukherjee all set to be sworn-in as President, there is much anticipation of how a 'political President' will give shape and form to Rahstrapati Bhawan. Speaking to NDTV, hours after his official victory the President-elect says he may have been a Congressman for four decades, but as President he understands the need to defend the constituition, he says, gives clear space to his office to have views that may be divergent from the government.
