Metro Rail is one of Mumbai's flagship projects and comparisons with Delhi's metro rail are inevitable. But Mumbaikars may have to pay more than they bargained for something that could place the project out of the reach for the masses. The first leg of Mumbai's dream project was planned to connect the city's western suburbs of Versova and Andheri to Ghatkopar on the east to ease the pressure on the city's already congested road and rail networks.
