The government's Left allies are holding protest rallies in West Bengal on Friday against the hike in oil prices. They are also planning to hold protests in other parts of the country and in the Parliament. The Left parties, which have always been opposed to a fuel price hike, are demanding a rollback. From Thursday midnight petrol prices have gone up by two rupees and diesel by one rupee.
