Elections in Karnataka now seem inevitable as chances of a reconciliation between the Janata Dal(S) and its coalition partner BJP have dimmed much further. The JD(S) on Friday decided that it will go in for a floor test on October 18 - a step ahead from the special assembly they had announced on Friday morning.
