America, the land of opportunities, has become a nightmare for more than 100 Indian workers in Mississippi, who say they have been forced to live and work in most miserable conditions. The workers were lured by promises of a permanent US visa and employed by marine fabrication company Signal international to tide over a labour shortage after Hurricane Katrina.
