India should lead the world economy: Italy's Economic Development Minister

Speaking to NDTV ahead of the G20 summit in Cannes, Italy's Economic Development Minister Paolo Romani said countries like India should lead the world economy. "We expect from India, China, Brazil, big countries outside Europe and US, to be the protagonist of a new economy of growth for everybody," he said. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be attending the crucial summit of the world's 20 leading economies in Cannes tomorrow.
