Even medical experts can be victims of medical negligence, this was the case when a operation meant to cure general physician Dr Chandrakant Chougule went wrong, only leading to 13 more of them. Dr Chougule, 50, underwent a routine gall bladder operation early last year at a private hospital in Sangli city, but within a week the wound reopened causing severe pain.
