Encephalitis kills 376 kids, eastern UP worst affected

At least 376 children have died of encephalitis in Gorakhpur this year while 4480 others were infected. And it isn't Gorakhpur's scourge alone; Assam, Delhi, Haryana and Chandigarh have reported cases as well. But despite the growing number of cases, the Centre has done little to prevent the recurring outbreaks that take so many lives.
