The delimitation commission has finalised redistribution of Lok Sabha and Assembly seats in some key states. The exercise has been completed in West Bengal, Rajasthan, Punjab, Maharashtra and Delhi. Currently, there is a huge difference in the size of constituencies and the commission is redrawing the seats to divide them equally.
