Dearth of youngsters major concern for CPM

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) is getting bigger but it is also getting older and, worst of all, the sex ratio is a dismal 11.93 per cent, which means, out of every 100 members, just 12 are women. The figures have just been placed at the 19th Congress of the party that is on at Coimbatore. These figures have caused a stir and prompted the CPM to issue an SOS on catching them young.
