Curfew relaxed in Srinagar, 5 other areas

Curfew was relaxed on Wednesday in Srinagar and five other districts for 12 hours even as violent protests continued across the valley for the third consecutive day, leaving 25 persons injured. Six persons were injured, one of them critically, in firing by police and CRPF at Habbakadal and Bemina areas of the city while 19 others were injured in baton charge and bursting of tear gas shells by law enforcing agencies elsewhere in the valley, official sources said.
