Congress inclined to support NC

Congress on Sunday night appeared to be veering around the view that it will back the National Confrence (NC) to form a coalition government in which it will also take part. Though the Congress deferred its decision on its strategy after a meeting of top party leaders including party chief Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, party sources indicated that NC was being considered as a "natural ally" and the Congress would be part of the govenment to give it a measure of stability.
