The narrow lanes of Shahpur Jat, an urban village in South Delhi are a world apart from the glitzy fashion streets of London. But irony and an ugly truth bring the two together. On Sunday, international clothing retailer, Gap announced that it was withdrawing blouses sold in the UK after an investigation by a British newspaper. The Observer reported that it found that children, barely 10 years old, made these clothes at a unit in Shahpur Jat.
