The recent violence in Vadodara over the demolition of a shrine that reportedly obstructed traffic has Maharashtra treading with caution now. The Municipal Corporation of Mumbai has asked for an updated list of illegal shrines in the city, so that it can proceed without making any community angry, whether it be a dargah in front of the Income-Tax office or a Sai Baba Temple outside the Sessions Court.
