Criss-crossing the state, Mr Singh - a towering leader in Punjab politics - tries to revive his party's fortunes in these elections. Huge rallies and lunch on the move, it really is a tough day for the politician. "This is my last stint, I've done enough now. Now I look forward to gardening and writing," he says with a smile.
