Starting next week, the Indian stock markets will have a new obsession, i.e., how Indian companies have performed in the 1st quarter of this year. Although a growth of about 22 per cent in the Sensex stocks is imminent, what most pundits agree on is that input cost will continue to rise, which will put pressure on the earnings.
