Foreign interest in Indian steel

Steel may be a little out of shape due to a global meltdown but the Indian steel industry may still benefit by attracting investments, especially from the gulf. One of the first signs could be the gulf based Al Ghurair group scouting for a steel partner in India. Al Ghurair, one of the large business conglomerates in the Middle East looks forward to setting up a steel plant in India and a partnership cannot be ruled out.
