Recently, the defence sector was opened for civilian companies and the private biggies such as L&T, Tatas and Mahindras made plans to cash in on the opportunity.Now a major public sector company, too, wants to get in the fray. It is none other that the capital goods giant BHEL, which has big plans for the sector and has already received 11 licenses for supplying hardware.
