At the UN Climate Change conference in Paris, India and other developing countries have challenged the findings of a study backed by a group of rich nations that claims that 57 billion USD have been raised for the Green Climate Fund in 2013-2014. In 2010, developed countries had made a commitment to jointly mobilise USD 100 billion per year by 2020 to address the needs of developing countries to tackle and adapt to climate change. The study was released by OECD (Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development) in collaboration with Climate Policy Initiative (CPI). Developing nations at the 21st session of the Conference of Parties (COP21) say the numbers have been fudged. NDTV spoke to Simon Buckle, OECD Head of Climate Change.
