World T20: Rain wins, West Indies through to super eights; Ireland out

Ireland put up a brave fight after being reduced to 3-37 but were cut short by rain as the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled in the West Indian innings. West Indies are thus through to the super eights.

  • It was Chris Gayle who stole the show though on the field despite the rains 'stealing the thunder' from the match. The swashbuckling opener was not only in good bowling form getting two wickets, but also was in great dancing form. His jigs after the dismissals were nothing short of spectacular.
