TUCC: When stars descended to greet young cricketers

The final match of the Toyota University Cricket Championship brought together a stunning list of cricketing celebrities on the same platform. A look at the glittering stars.

Sri Lanka cricketer Mahela Jayawardena was present and is seen here greeting India's 1983 World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev.

Kapil Dev has been a very vocal enthusiast of university cricket and was present for the title clash. He is seen here with Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association's Anurag Thakur who was recently credited for Dharamsala's first international match - between India and England.

Kapil is seen greeting the players on the field.

Jayawardene too greeted the young players who were elated to meet with the former Sri Lanka skipper.

The well-known personalities stand in attention as the national anthem was played out ahead of the match.

Dashing India opener Virender Sehwag was also present and is seen enjoying 'a light massage' in the Jamia camp.
