In a massive show of strength, the Congress party has organised a mammoth rally at the Ramlila Maidan, to explain to the people the need for reform measures like allowing foreign direct investment in retail and also counter the many allegations of corruption that leaders and ministers from the party face.

In a charged speech, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi listed the Congress party's achievements, clearly taking on not just the BJP but also new political opponent Arvind Kejriwal and also launching what is clearly his party's mission 2014.
