Besides the monument replicas that have involved the expertise of Bollywood art directors, there are bullock carts driven by cows in colourful gear, flower elephants, musicians and giant balloons.
Sources close to the Reddys say some 50,000 people, including VIPs, have been invited and around 3,000 security men will stand guard.
Around 40 bullock carts will ferry invitees to the wedding hall. Eight priests have been brought in from the famous Thirumala temple.
Some are questioning how the wedding has been insulated by the cash crunch after the shock abolition of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes last week.
