Aneel Bhusri heads the Indian-American list at #25. Bhusri is the co-CEO of Workday, a cloud-based financials and human resources software company.
Rob Chandra of Bessemer Ventures, a regular in the list, makes his fourth consecutive appearance. He comes next, at #28.
Sameer Gandhi of Accel Partners moved up in the ranks to 33rd position, from #81 in 2011. He has made significant investments in file-sharing company Dropbox, and the online shopping site, Flipkart.
Vinod Khosla of Khosla Ventures follows at #34, up from position #71 last year. The company's focus is on early and late-stage investments, next-generation energy projects, new materials, mobility, the Internet and silicon technology.
Neeraj Agrawal of Battery Ventures is up from #51 in 2011 to #36. The company invests in technology-driven companies. A founding investor in Bladelogic, a public software company acquired by BMC Software, he is actively involved with Groupon and Panaya.
Navin Chaddha, Managing Director of 41-year-old venture capital firm Mayfield Fund, has ranked on the list for several years. This year, he comes in at #46.
At #95 is Ajay Agarwal, managing director at Bain Capital Ventures. In addition to this, he is the National Board Chair for BUILD, a not-for-profit dedicated to helping underprivileged high school students attend college.
Asheem Chandna, partner at Greylock Partners, is #96 on the list. His areas of interest span enterprise IT infrastructure, software and services. Chandna is also on the panel of judges for the Wall Street Journal Global Technology Innovation Awards.
Subrata Mitra joined Accel India in 2008 as a partner, and he comes in at #99. He is currently on the boards of Perfint, Flipkart, Myntra and enStage.
