- The US released combat footage from the first 100 hours of Operation Epic Fury
- The joint US-Israeli operation targeted Iran's military and security infrastructure

The United States has released combat footage from the opening “100 hours” of Operation Epic Fury, the joint American-Israeli attack on Iran.
The video, released by the United States Central Command, shows fighter jets flying at high speed, precision missiles launching from warships at sea, and strikes on vehicles and installations on land. The air and naval assault began on February 28 and has since killed more than 700 civilians in Iran.
Operation Epic Fury was launched under orders from US President Donald Trump. American forces, alongside Israel, began a coordinated campaign to dismantle what they described as Iran's security and military apparatus.
According to US statements released with the video, the campaign focused on targets considered an “imminent threat,” including missile systems, command centres and naval assets.
In several clips, fighter jets release precision-guided weapons toward targets far below. Another sequence shows missiles firing from US warships at night, heading toward land-based objectives. One segment shows a strike on a moving vehicle, which is destroyed in an explosion shortly after being tracked from the air.

The operation involved several advanced aircraft and weapons systems. US bombers and fighters, including the B-2 Spirit, F-35 Lightning II, F-22 Raptor and B-52 Stratofortress, carried out strikes using GPS-guided munitions such as the GBU-31 JDAM. Long-range Tomahawk cruise missile launches from American warships and submarines targeted radar installations and command centres before aircraft entered contested airspace.
The attack also reportedly used loitering munitions such as the Low‑cost Uncrewed Combat Attack System, designed to strike smaller targets and overwhelm air-defence systems.
“The United States and its partners have launched Operation Epic Fury, the most lethal, most complex, and most precise aerial operation in history,” the narration says in the video. It adds that US forces are undertaking “an unprecedented operation to eliminate Iran's ability to threaten Americans.” The narration also claims the assault is targeting Iranian naval forces.
One of the targeted missiles struck a girls' school in Iran's Minab and killed over 163 children.
“Combat operations continue at this time, full force, and they will continue until all of our objectives are achieved,” a voiceover of Trump says at the end.
The attack began with missile launches from US ships and aircraft, followed by waves of Israeli and American fighter jets hitting targets across Iran, including locations in Tehran and other major cities. Israel reportedly deployed roughly 200 fighter aircraft.
Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other major officials were assassinated in the joint attack. Khamenei had ruled Iran since 1989.
About nine people were killed in Israel and three in the UAE reported dead following Iranian retaliatory actions.
