Zubeen Garg | Thousands Gather In Jorhat For Zubeen Garg’s 13th Day Rituals & Multi-Faith Tribute
Massive crowds gathered at the Jorhat District Stadium for the 13th day rituals of iconic singer Zubeen Garg. A multi-faith prayer ceremony was held to honour his memory, with musical tributes, kirtans, and performances by young flautists and artists. Zubeen’s ashes were kept at the stadium as fans and followers from across Assam paid their respects. Congress leader DK Shivakumar and local MP Gaurav Gogoi were present at the ceremony. Over a lakh people were expected to attend. Meanwhile, two accused in Zubeen Garg’s death case have been arrested and produced before the Guwahati Chief Judicial Magistrate.
