Young Promoter Shot Dead in Howrah, CCTV Captures Killing
A 27-year-old promoter, Shafiq Khan, was shot dead in the Golabari-Pilkhana area of Howrah, adjacent to Kolkata, early Wednesday morning.
According to police, two unidentified assailants opened fire at close range around 4:30 a.m., critically injuring Khan. He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The murder was captured on CCTV, and investigators are reviewing the footage as part of the probe.
