At the NDTV-India Animal Fund #FreedomForAll Telethon, Justice (Retd) KS Radhakrishnan, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India talks about the PCA Act  - Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act that was enacted in 1960. He said, "In my judgment, I have specifically indicated that there should be a world body which will protect the rights of animals. We have a United Nations. We have united human rights. That is protecting the rights of human beings wherever in the whole universe, whole world. But why not animals? They are also one of the species in the earth.
