William Dalrymple Speaks To NDTV On His New Book
Author William Dalrymple has released his new book, The Anarchy, which chronicles the journey of the East India Company in setting up British rule in India. All of his eight books have won literary prizes and the author's latest book has been published by Bloomsbury India. Mr Dalrymple's new book gives us an insight into the first global corporate to conquer a whole subcontinent, thus colonising India much before the British Empire ruled the country for two centuries. Mr Dalrymple spoke to NDTV in an exclusive interview.
