The story of A Suitable Boy adapted for a web series by critically acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair is set in the 50s, post the independence. It shows problems between Hindus and Muslims and also shows shades of intolerance because of caste and religion. NDTV's Rohit Khilnani asked Mira Nair how much of that has changed. She said, 'Not much and that's why we must rage against the dying of the light!'. In this interview, she also talks about getting trolled. A Suitable Boy is out on Netflix.
