A Trinamool Congress (TMC) worker was shot and critically injured in North 24 Parganas ahead of Phase 2 polling in West Bengal. The victim was reportedly hit by three bullets when unidentified assailants opened fire while he was standing roadside with a friend. He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
