'We Sat Down Thinking We Were About to Die': NDTV Team Recalls Everest Avalanche
An NDTV team which was at the Everest base camp on Saturday recounts the moments right after the avalanche - triggered by the devastating earthquake in Nepal. "It was a powder snow avalanche that was coming towards us. We sat down and I pulled down my cap, thinking we were about to die," says NDTV producer Amir Peerzada.
