Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Group highlighted the importance of education, health and nutrition among the vulnerable sections of the society, to not just raise awareness but also empower women and uplift their position in society. He reiterated that COVID-19 pandemic will have devastating effect if action is not taken, as out half of the 150 million children who are out of schools are those below the poverty line, and most prone to trafficking and abuse.
