Way ahead for the new pension system
The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) Bill 2011 has been passed by Parliament. With this, the PFRDA gets statutory status. Yogesh Agarwal, chairperson of PFRDA, talks exclusively to NDTV Profit about various modifications that have been made in the new pension system to boost its popularity. Mr Agarwal indicates what more the PFRDA plans to do to make the scheme more attractive.
