Water Scarcity In Rural Maharashtra

Just 100 kilometres from Mumbai in rural Maharashtra, a daily ordeal in Shahapur for women in nearly 200 villages as they have to trek in the scorching sun to collect 2 buckets of water. There is no water source for these tribal villages that are on top of a plateau and the wells in the area are filled by water tankers. Sohit Mishra reports.
