India has reiterated its commitment to bringing back fugitives and individuals wanted by law to face trial in Indian courts. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the government is in talks with several countries and that processes are underway, though multiple legal layers are involved in extradition cases. The statement was made during a regular press briefing in New Delhi.
