VCK Flags Omission Of Periyar, Nehru, Ambedkar Names From TN Policy Note
The VCK has flagged the alleged omission of Periyar, Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr BR Ambedkar from this year's policy note of Tamil Nadu's Backward Classes Welfare Department. The party compared the latest document with last year's note, pointing out that the three leaders' names, earlier mentioned in the section on reservation, are absent this year. VCK has urged Chief Minister Joseph Vijay to intervene. TVK, meanwhile, has clarified that it will table a new version of the policy book and said it respects all leaders.
