US Deploys More Troops To West Asia As Truce Talks Loom: Wall Street Journal
The Wall Street Journal reports that the United States is deploying additional forces to West Asia, even as ceasefire talks are expected to be discussed in Islamabad. According to the report, units from the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division are mobilising, with around 1,500 to 2,000 troops expected to move into the region.
