US Conducts Retaliatory Strikes Against Iran-Backed Militias In Iraq, Syria
The US has launched strikes on 85 targets in Syria and Iraq in response to Sunday's drone attack on a US military base that killed three soldiers and injured over 40 personnel. Reports say nearly 40 people have been killed in the strikes. Iran, Iraq and Syria have condemned the hits.
