US Attacks Iran | Australia Confirms 3 Personnel Aboard US Submarine That Sank Iranian Warship

Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed that three Australian personnel were aboard a U.S. submarine that torpedoed the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena in the Indian Ocean, killing at least 87 people. The Australians were part of the trilateral AUKUS training program involving the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Albanese clarified that no Australian personnel took part in any offensive action against Iran. Canberra also said it had not been warned in advance about the US and Israel’s planned strikes on Iran.
