Unique Mehndi Campaign Organised To Encourage Voters' Participation In Amreli
In a bid to ramp up voter turnout and strengthen democratic participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, a unique campaign was launched in the Amreli district of Gujarat. Women at an Anganwadi centre adorned their hands with beautiful mehndi designs bearing slogans such as 'Vote for India', and "Mera Mat Mera Adhikar" to mark their commitment to voting in the parliamentary polls.
