UK To Honour Mahatma Gandhi With Commemorative Coin

Britain will mint a commemorative coin for Mahatma Gandhi in his honour. The UK Treasury Department has said the proposal has been in the works since October 2019, when former Chancellor Sajid Javid proposed it to mark the 150th birth anniversary year Mahatma Gandhi. The coin will be minted in the UK in a few months.
