'He Died Fighting The British': Asaduddin Owaisi Defends Tipu Sultan

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly defended Tipu Sultan amid the ongoing political controversy. Owaisi said Tipu fought the British till his death and did not seek mercy, contrasting him with other historical figures who allegedly wrote clemency appeals.

He further claimed that even Mahatma Gandhi had described Tipu Sultan as an embodiment of Hindu-Muslim unity, arguing that Tipu symbolised resistance against colonial rule and communal harmony.
