Twisha Sharma Case | Lawyer: "Investigating Agency Has Accepted Their Mistake"

Twisha Sharma’s family has approached the court seeking a second postmortem, alleging serious lapses in the investigation into her death. Speaking to NDTV, the family’s lawyer claimed that the investigating agency has admitted to mistakes in handling the case. The family also alleged that they are being pressured to cremate the body despite demanding further forensic examination. AIIMS Bhopal has reportedly stated that preserving the body for a longer period is not possible. Meanwhile, the family says it is prepared to move the Supreme Court if necessary. The case has sparked outrage after the accused reportedly received anticipatory bail despite a dowry case being registered.
