TVK Hits Back At Udhayanidhi Stalin, Says Its Vote Share Higher Than DMK's

A fresh political war of words has erupted in Tamil Nadu after TVK strongly responded to remarks made by Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin in the Assembly. Stalin had claimed that 65% of voters did not support TVK in the 2026 Assembly elections. In response, TVK said its standalone vote share and total votes were significantly higher than the DMK's individual tally. The party also claimed that Tamil Nadu voters had "rejected" the DMK, pointing to the defeat of several ministers and accusing the ruling party of struggling after the election setback.
