Trump's DC Crackdown: Crime Falls After Federal Takeover But At What Cost? | Washington Watch

President Trump's takeover of policing in Washington D.C. has triggered both praise and criticism. With National Guard troops and federal agents patrolling the streets, officials say violent crime has dropped sharply, over 1,000 arrests have been made, and Trump points to a rare murder-free stretch in the city. Homicides and assaults dropped, robberies and thefts declined, but sex abuse crimes rose. Critics warn the numbers may be short-lived, or even underreported, raising questions...is this lasting progress or political theatre? NDTV's Allister D'Souza breaks it down.
