Eyewitnesses and local residents who rushed to the scene of the deadly fire at Delhi's Micasa Inn hotel recounted dramatic rescue efforts that helped save several lives. Speaking to NDTV, rescuers said they broke open a locked basement entrance and pulled out at least seven unconscious people trapped inside. Some victims were found on staircases, inside bathrooms, and under beds as thick smoke engulfed the building.
