The Supreme Court has transferred all five cases linked to the rape of a teenager in Uttar Pradesh allegedly by a now-expelled BJP lawmaker, from the state to Delhi, in a major embarrassment to the Uttar Pradesh government. The top court has also ordered the Yogi Adityanath government to pay a compensation of Rs. 25 lakh to the survivor by tomorrow. The teenager is battling for her life after a car crash on Sunday.
